Dinagyang 2021 presents virtual performances
Amid the challenge of pandemic Covid-19, Iloilo City will virtually show its world-renowned Dinagyang festivities in 2021.
Dubbed with the theme, “One Dinagyang One Iloilo Halad kay Sr. Sto. Niño”, preliminary activities presentations may start January 15, 2021 onwards until the highlight of the activity. In normal situations, Dinagyang highlight activities often falls on the third Sunday of January.
The City Mayor is optimistic that the conduct of this annual activity will alleviate the spirit of every Ilonggo as challenged by the burdens brought about by the pandemic. Dinagyang festival is now being spearheaded by Iloilo Festivals Foundations, Inc.
Ms. Rabiya Mateo, the newly-crowned Ms. Universe-Philippines will grace the festivity along with other Ilonggo artists.
